I Have A Quick Question. It Looks Like I Have

I have a quick question. It looks like I have a small infection on my abdomen that I think came from an ingrown hair or a zit or something. It's getting a little bigger (like 2 in wide) and is kind of hard. I've started applying a topical antibiotic ointment but do you think this might be something I need medication for? Thanks!
