I Have A Rash On My Back And Chest That

I have a rash on my back and chest that itches a lot. I I thought that it might be an allergic reaction to a medication I was taking so the doctor told me to discontinue it. I applied benedryl cream and to the prescription strength of benedryl for a week now and nothing has changed. I'm itching like crazy.
