I Have A Rash On Ring Finger And It Has

I have a rash on ring finger and it has spread to the back of my hand. I used cortisone on it and some other steroid prescription(red & white tub...tri????) but it seems to not be helping. Then I just put some Vaseline on it. Its now running...pulse out. I just wanted to know what else can I do short of going to the doctor. This has happen before.
