I Have A Rash ( Very Dry Skin ) Around

I have a rash ( very dry skin ) around the middle of my face ( where a face mask would cover I have tried to put some medicine, but I can not put by my eyes and it is very itchy. This all started with the last time I needed oxigen.. My question is .... can I put some baby oil around my eyes. I have C.O.P.D. and sleep APNEA. I will be seeing my doctor but my appointment is not until the 20th of this month.
