I Have A Really Sharp Pain In My Neck, Right

I have a really sharp pain in my neck, right where it connects to my shoulder on the left side. Its a sharp throbbing pain, like a pinch, that is shooting down my arm and up my neck. My neck feels really stiff. I'm not sure if its something I should call the Dr for or go to urgent or just wait it out. It started about three days ago but today it really really is painful. my left arm is kind of numb and it hurts to lift it. Any idea?
