I Have A Recurring Abcess On My Left Elbow. I

I have a recurring abcess on my left elbow. I also suffer from long-term untreated hepatitis C. I suspect that the best course of treatment at this point would be another round of I.V. antibiotics. Is there one that you would recommend that would do less damage to my liver?
