I Have A Recurring Problem With Ear Wax In My

I have a recurring problem with ear wax in my left ear and have to have it regularly micro suctioned out. I also have ETD, mostly in my right ear and am due to have grommets fitted.
Firstly, am I able to just have a grommet fitted in my right ear and secondly, if I have to have grommets fitted in both ears, is it possible to still put olive oil in my ear and have it micro suctioned?
