I Have A Recurring Rectal Itch And I Want To

I have a recurring rectal itch and I want to know what I can apply to relieve the itch. I have been eating a proper diet with lots of fiber and have been drinking lots of water. I don't recall straining myself during any recent bowel movement, so I'm somewhat concerned that this symptom keeps recurring. The last time I had this, it went on for two months and ended up with a vaginal itch! My genocologist diagnosed me as having vaginal exczema. But, I don't think she diagnosed it correctly. What can I use to relieve the onset itching?
