I Have A Red Spot On The Right Side Of

I have a red spot on the right side of my right breast. It is slightly itchy but not painful. I noticed a few days ago that it is peeling. I have had it for over a week and I am not sure if it's just a heat bump (like the irritation a bra can do underneath the breast) or I should get it looked at by my physician? It doesn't hurt to the touch and does not appear to have a lump underneath the red spot. If I should get it looked at, would this be more of a general physicians field or my ob/gyn?
