I Have A Rock Hard Lump In My Throat And

I have a rock hard lump in my throat and I am extremely worried. It cracks, when I move my neck and I constantly have a soar throat. I am scared to go to the ENT because I have a feeling it could be cancer. What should I do? Are these signs something I should be concerned about?
