I Have A Rope Type Burn Around Both Ankles (a

I have a rope type burn around both ankles (a dog wound her leash around me). A couple of days later, a solid red rash appeared around the rope burns. I have been sweating a lot lately due to the heat and working outside and wonder if the rash is not heat related.
