I Have A Rough Area Just Inside The Vaginal Opening.

I have a rough area just inside the vaginal opening. It has been there since last fall. I saw my gyne Dr. She could not see it or feel it. Last week I saw my PCP. She thinks it's a yeast infection. Prescribed med for and swabed the area. No yeast growth from culture. I notice it more at the end of the day or after I have exercised. What now?
