I Have A Semi-painful Red Line On The Inside Of

I have a semi-painful red line on the inside of my upper lip -its a thin line and looks very red and inflamed. It comes and goes for the past two weeks. I also have a new cold sore (unrelated?) and a canker sore that will not go away. Why's going on? Mostly let me know about the upper lip problem. Thanks!
