I Have A Serious Pain On The Crud Of Helix

I have a serious pain on the crud of helix and anterior notch of my ear. The pain is on the outside of my ear and hurts when I touch my ear. There is no physical sign of swelling or bumps. What could be the cause of this pain? I have had it for at least three days so far.
