I Have A Severe Itch From My Shoulder To My

I have a severe itch from my shoulder to my elbow , with no sign of a bite or rash , I have tried all types of creams from the chemist but nothing stop it and it is getting so bad I cannot sleep at night , please can you give me some advise as to what to do as I am scratching till I bleed but it still keeps on itching
