I Have A Severe Pain That Feels Like Heartburn But

I have a severe pain that feels like heartburn but its on my left upper side of my back. I have noticed it after eating certain types of foods like pizza or donuts. Could it be my gallbladder? I have had 2 cardiograms in the last 3 weeks checking my heart. All came back normal. These attacks come and go but it has been pretty
consistent in the last 24 hours. Yes - I have had donuts today. Is there anything I can take to lessen the pain? I am going to make an appointment with my family doctor on Monday.
