I Have A Sharp Pain In My Lower Left Leg

I have a sharp pain in my lower left leg above the knee. The pain is similar to a stabbing pain and is continuous with ebbs and flows. It started in the morning and continues to the afternoon. Walking seems to alleviate some of the discomfort. Could this be a DVT?
