I Have A Sharp Pain Under My Lower Left Rib

I have a sharp pain under my lower left rib cage (could be upper left abdomen) after I eat. The stomach or fat get really hard also. Once the pain subsides for the most part the stomach or fat or whatever you want to call it returns to soft.

Any idea what this could be?
