I Have A Sharp Stabbing Pain In My Right Ankle

I have a sharp stabbing pain in my right ankle on the outside just below the bone. I also have a. Bulgejust above about the size of a golf ball. The pain usually happens when i rest and put my legs up. When the pain happens it also causes my foot and toes to twist. It is really painful and lasts up to about 10 minutes.
