I Have A Similar Ring Bruise On Each Calf, Mid-way

I have a similar ring bruise on each calf, mid-way up that wraps around the calf, for about 2 months. I associated it with swimming but it could have been from wearing tight socks. However, today the bruise on one leg in particular is worse and wider. Last night I treated it with licorice extract to fade the bruise. This liquid is quite benign so I doubt it had any effect on the bruise. I've also been very sick with a strange bug and not recovering well from it despite finishing a course of antibiotics. Do you have any suggestions?
