I Have A Sinus Infection And Am On Strong Antibiotics

I have a sinus infection and am on strong antibiotics (2 days now) and my throat is extremely irritated and painful. Majority of the pain is where my tonsils used to be. I had them taken out ten months ago. The pain feels like my recovery. There is what looks like a blister or polyp where my tonsil would be. The lump is flesh toned and i have what look like tiny scabs on the back of my throat. My strep test came back negative.
