I Have A Small 16th Of An Inch Brown Spot

I have a small 16th of an inch brown spot in the midddle upper portion of my lower eye lid,for about 6 months. there is no pearly quqlity to it. it sems smooth to the touch but has some minimual vertical appearance but no bump can be felt. i have been examined by my family doctor who says its nothing to worry about . I am 67 yrs. old. Should i accept her advice or go to ENT for further evaluation. of courcse malignicy is my only fear.
