I Have A Small Hard Cyst (the Size Of A

I have a small hard cyst (the size of a pea) that has appeared on the outer top of the bone in the middle of the left foot. It has been there for about a month. It hurts when I lay on it at night. I have been wearing a boot for plantar fascistic and had to stop wearing it. I also have a small bone spur on that foot. Is this something that is likely to go away on it's own or will it have to be removed? I also walk about a mile every day.
