I Have A Small Lump Located Near My Hyoid Bone

I have a small lump located near my hyoid bone on the right side about 2.5 mm. If I palpate the nodule it seems to become inflamed, causing symptoms like strep throat, headaches, and pain in my right ear. My voice has been horse and my throat has been sore since the last week of October. I went to the ears, nose and throat doc and had some type of nasal-endoscope and had ulcers on my voice box. He prescribed ATBs and a steroid over a month ago and it still has not gotten better.
