I Have A Small Lump On Top Of Each Hip

I have a small lump on top of each hip flexor under the skin. I am a soccer player and have extremely tense hips. I'm not sure if it has any correlation, but my hip with the larger of the 2 bumps constantly locks and I have to do a deep kneeling squat until it pops. once I do this the tension is instantly released
