I Have A Small Lump The Size Of The Tip

I have a small lump the size of the tip of a cotton swap. Had for a long time, it does not hurt, but when I push on it or squeeze it - it sends a tickling/tingling feeling across my scalp. Feels like nerves are involved but not sure how a bundle of nerves got there if that's what it is.
