I Have A Small Nodule On The Left Side Of

I have a small nodule on the left side of my neck in the back . Should I be concerned. I had a mri and the result was either a neurofriboma or a lymph node. Have an apt. with an Ears, Nose and Throat Dr. About three weeks ago I had a pounding noise in my ear and muffled hearing. It went away.
