I Have A Small Problem With Excessive Moisture/fluid In The

I have a small problem with excessive moisture/fluid in the ear canal that connects with the throat. I have had the ear drum piercing a with a small plastic tube inserted to drain the canal. After a few weeks the tube came out of it's own accord and I have recovered most of my hearing. My question is, should I be using something like hydra sense (a commercial product) to try to keep this canal from filling with fluids?
