I Have A Smaller Than Quarter Sized Bump With Hint

I have a smaller than quarter sized bump with hint of black in the middle. Slightly painful. I've had a cyst before in a different spot. I've had small things like this before in somewhat of the same spot, but they went away with out going to a doctor. What should I do?
