I Have A Soft Rounded Bump/knot On My Right Rib

I have a soft rounded bump/knot on my right rib case. That side can be irritating and sometimes I feel a burning sensation.i have done ultrasound, X-ray, scan, etc. no doctor has told me what it is, except I told to do surgery to remove it. Please advise
