I Have A Soft Tissue Lump About The Size Of

I have a soft tissue lump about the size of a half golfball, on the lower portion of my left knee cap. I have not received any injury what so ever; and appears to be growing. It is not painful, but after using a soft kneeling pad for gardening, or washing floors, it becomes very hot and feverish and achy.
