I Have A Son, 6 Yrs. Old. A Week Ago

I have a son, 6 yrs. Old. A week ago he was injected with anti-pneumonia. And the days after that he still has cough and cold like symptoms and additional to that his mouth bubble when he sleep. My question is why is his mouth bubbling upon sleep? Is it normal, a side effect or should I go check it up?
