I Have A Steady Vaginal Discharge That Is Dark Yellow

I have a steady vaginal discharge that is dark yellow sometimes light brown....I am 43 had tubes tied over 19 years ago I have usually a 4 day menstrual period....is this normal for my age? and what could be causing the discharge...its so bad have to wear panty liners all the time.
