I Have A Steam Burn On Toward The Side Of

I have a steam burn on toward the side of the big toe. It happened a week ago last Friday and I did see a Doc for it. I have kept it bandaged and have been putting silver ? on it. The larger blister has now broken and it is dark pink underneath. Do I wash it every time I change bandage?
