I Have A Strange Growth About The Size Of A

I have a strange growth about the size of a small grain of roce in the perfect center of my spine, just below the top of my pelvis. The area will every few years be bruised below the skin and be extremely sensitive to the touch. Not the skin, but the spine itself. What are possible reasons for this?
