Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a sudden on set of pain in my jaw about a couple of weeks ago. I move my jaw in a way that it made a cluncking sound. After that it hurt. It is worse in the morning and then lossens up and feels better. But if I clench down it hurts in my jaw muscle. It does not feel like any tooth pain. I went to the chriopractor and he said my jaw did not feel off set. He gave me a altra sound treatment and it felt a little better. But that was short lived. Should I go to the dentist or a MD to see what this is. If this is TMJ I would be surprised to know I clench my teeth a lot of time with out noticing.
