I Have A Swollen Area About 2 Inches Wide, 4

I have a swollen area about 2 inches wide, 4 inches long and sticks out further than the other side about an inch in the right side of my pubic area. Not hard but firm and swollen. Not painful but sore if touched or not touched. It seems to be there during the day and evening but when I first get up in the morning it's not so large.
I don't know if it's a gland, muscle or what.
