I Have A Third Degree Sprain In My Ankle, Which

I have a third degree sprain in my ankle, which occurred on November 24th. The sprain consists of a fully ruptured ligament as well as another partially torn ligament. I am supposed to go skiing from January 11-15. The ultrasound tech that I talked to did not give me a definitive answer on whether I would be able to ski or if there were any risks of doing so. Just looking for some feedback.
