I Have A Triangular Dark Spots Under My Big Toe

I have a triangular dark spots under my big toe nail that I recently discovered after removing Polish. The Polish was on for about a month, and I can't exactly recall if I hit the toe hard enough to bruise it. I'm trying to differentiate whether it's a bruise or fungus.
