I Have A Very Dear Friend Who Is In The

I have a very dear friend who is in the last stages of liver failure. Theres no hope for a transplant. Hes had his peritonel cavity drained 3 times. Hes now on morphine and hydrocodiene and they have transferred him to the nursing home. Hospice came in 2 weeks ago.
Could you please explain to me what will happen in the next final weeks so I can be prepared. Ive never had someone I love like this die before and I am very scared.
