I Have A Very Sore Tongue On The Side And

I have a very sore tongue on the side and back if I touch the part it really hurts like a badly pulled muscle . Sharp but achy and it radiates in to my ears when swallowing a little . I've had a throat infection for 2 weeks which has subsided other than hurting in the morning . Really paranoid it's something bad
