I Have A Very Strange Pain In My Chest. It

I have a very strange pain in my chest. It comes an goes and it's been happening for years now. It's normally on the left side of my chest under my left breast close to where my heart is located. It's extremely sharp and painful, increasing so when I breathe. It will hurt extremely bad for about 30 seconds and then fade. What could this be?
