I Have A Very Tender Spot Right Under My Rib

I have a very tender spot right under my rib cage on the left side. It appears when I touch it that it leaves a temporary indentation on the skin. I have had this happen on both sides, and it's not chronic, but I will have kind of a pressing pain in that area many times throughout the day.
