I Have A Viral Infection My Gp Said. He Said

I have a viral infection my gp said. He said my throat and ear canal are quite red Now I'm getting pain in my eye cheek bone jaw and ear and throat. And dizzy spells. My gp said just take paracetamol. But my pharmacy said he should of gave me amoxicillin but he did. Ibrophen isn't working its be six days now. Please advise me thanks
