I Have A Weak Pulse On The Left Neck Carotid

I have a weak pulse on the left neck carotid artery compared to the right which bulges above the collar bone with a visible pulsate. Is it normal for one pulse to be stronger than the other. I am 80 yrs in good health and don’t take prescriptions other than Meloxicam. Thank you
