I Have A Weird Sensation In My Inner Lips Above

I have a weird sensation in my inner lips above my gums . It feels astringent for lack of a better word. Tight and pulling sensation. I have it a bit on the lower inner lip area as well. Have had this feeling off and on for about 5 months since having my teeth cleaned. Gums are not swollen. I brush and floss regularly. Mouth does not feel dry.
