I Have A Wound I Received Abboutout Three Weeks Ago

I have a wound I received abboutout three weeks ago when a book case was dropped on my foot while moving, at the time it caused a pretty big gash-but I thought I could self treat it and did not go to a Dr or the ER. About 4 days later I went to a med express as it didn't look like it was healing and it was all red. They cleaned the wound bandaged it and gave me Doxycylcline for an anti biotic. By Wednedsay of the following week I returned to Med Express as the redness seemed to be worse. The Dr then did a procedure where he removed what a scab like material basically opening the wound up. They put an antibiotic ointment on it covered it with a non stick pad and wraapped it up. I have been cchanging the bandage about three times a day using thesame process the Drs did. It has now been another week and the wound continues to seep bllood and does not appear to be healing over. I am getting very worried. Any suggestions
