I Have A Yeast Infection Which I Scratched At So

I have a yeast infection which I scratched at so bad that I now have open wounds, I went to the doctor he confirmed it was a yeast infection with vulvovaginitis, he sais it was so bad he could not do the pelvic exam without causing me a great deal of pain...he gave me 1 diflucan pill and nystatin cream. It hasn't helped so far, im in so much pain and I'm so miserable. It's making it difficult to preform daily household activities, and down right excruciating to take care of my children, please help I am so desperate, I need some sort of relief now, I'm willing to try anything!!!!
