I Have Acid Reflux With Small Hiatal Hernia And Relaxed

I have acid reflux with small hiatal hernia and relaxed LES. My endoscopy also indicated Barrett's. I have been on prilosec for past two months and have not had any of the previous symptoms of reflux. In the past two weeks I have had a constant sensation of a lump in my throat that does not diminish regardless of what I do to try and soothe it. My mother died of tracheal cancer. Not sure how concerned I should be, but don't want to panic. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!
