I Have Ad This Cough For A Very Long Time

I have ad this cough for a very long time I cough sometimes hard and makes me throw up and its like foam sometimes and slimy. I have been to an ear nose &throat dr. cant seem to know what to do! It is very flustrating because I don't get any rest at night. ITS almost like whooping cough! Which I had when I was around 10!
